MAIN ACTIVITY	Teacher explains the story. Teacher copies synopsis on board Students copy down the synopsis into their books.

MAIN ACTIVITY	Teacher distributes worksheets.  Students given time to read through the worksheets. Listening CD is played ala exam format.
REFLECTION :	No one obtained 0 marks!! The lowest is 4. That is a marked improvement from L6.

MAIN ACTIVITY	Teacher distributes story books. Students are given time to read to themselves before the teacher calls them one by one to read aloud. ( to identify illiterate students in English and weak readers)
REFLECTION :	5 English illiterate students identified. 5 average readers ( a little hesitant but ok) 18 poor readers ( some words read and skipped many ‘difficult’ to pronounce words)
